Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Pacific Area Burglary Detectives are asking for
the public’s assistance in identifying burglary suspects.
The burglaries involve a Black female in her 20’s, who is posing as
a Post Mates delivery person. She knocks on the door or rings the
doorbell while holding a bag of food. If the resident responds, she
announces herself as a Post Mates delivery person and says she has
their food.
When no one answers, she waves over the other suspects, usually two
male Blacks, also in their 20’s, and they respond to the rear of
the residence. The suspects enter via an unlocked window or break a
window to enter.
The suspects then proceed to ransack the residence, placing the
victim’s personal belongings in bags and pillow cases, before
exiting via the front door. The female is usually the driver, and
they have been seen in various newer model vehicles with paper
plates.
All the burglaries occurred
between 4PM and 8PM.
There are at least four
burglaries in Pacific Division with the same suspects:
-3000 block of Stoner Avenue on Friday, August 3, 2018,
-12000 block of Marine Street on Wednesday, August 29,
2018,
-12000 block of Clover Avenue on Thursday, September 6,
2018,
-3500 block of Grand View Avenue on Friday, September 7,
2018.

related to this crew. Anyone with information on these burglaries
