Los Angeles: On Tuesday,
September 11, 2018, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Mission Area
Narcotics Unit served a search warrant for illegal marijuana sales
in the 15400 block of Devonshire Street at an illegal cannabis
retail shop (MHPC). There was a total of eight arrests at the
location as well as several items of evidence and contraband
confiscated. This location was operating without the proper permits
and was also considered a nuisance location.
According to Captain Natalie Cortez, Commanding Officer,
Mission Area, “Mission officers will continue to take an
enforcement stance against these illegal businesses, we value our
community’s safety and this type of illegally operated business
only brings in an unwanted criminal element. It’s our goal to keep
our community safe and informed of our enforcement efforts.”
