Serial Robber Captured on Surveillance Video NR19192ml

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police
Department’s Robbery Homicide Division, Robbery Special Section,
are seeking the public’s help in providing any information that
would lead to the identification and arrest of a serial robbery
suspect.

Beginning January 9, 2019, a single male Black suspect has targeted
businesses for the purpose of robbery. The suspect, described as a
male Black, 6’0, 150 lbs., 30-40 years old, would enter the
business armed with a handgun.

The suspect would point the handgun at the employees, jump the
counter and demand the money from the register. The suspect would
then force the employee to take him to the safe, open it, take the
money, and flee on foot. The suspect has targeted fast food
restaurants and gas stations in the South and West Los Angeles
areas.

Detectives have identified eleven robberies committed by this
suspect. Ten have occurred in the City of Los Angeles and one in
the City of Inglewood. The most recent occurred on Monday, July
15th in the Fairfax District.

The City of Los Angeles, on a motion from Councilman H. Wesson,
Council District 10, has established a $25,000 reward for
information that leads to the identification, arrest, and
conviction of this serial robber.
