Encino: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of a man.
On January 28, 2020 around 10:15 p.m., Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Station responded to a call of “Shots fired, man down” at Balboa Park.
When officers arrived, they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and rendered aid but the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Witnesses reported hearing an argument between the victim and an unknown male, then gunshots. No arrests have been made.
This victim was identified as Bryan Woodson, 35, a transient who slept in the park.
