LAPD Statement Regarding Armenia and Azerbaijan Conflict NR20243dm

The Los Angeles Police Department is aware of increasing military conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Any peaceful protests related to this conflict will be facilitated as protected free speech. However, violent behavior or vandalism by protestors will not be tolerated and will result in enforcement action or arrest.

The Los Angeles Police Department is committed to the rights, freedom, and safety of all Angelenos. Extra patrol will be given to both the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities within Los Angeles during this time of heightened tension.
