San Fernando: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of a man.
On October 1, 2020, around 6:12 p.m., Foothill Area Patrol officers responded to a Radio Call of an, “Assault with a Deadly Weapon Shooting, Man Down,” near the 13200 block of Del Sur Street. Upon arrival the officers observed the victim laying on the sidewalk in front of the location. He was unconscious and not breathing and suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at scene.
Valley Bureau Homicide was contacted and assumed responsibility of the investigation. Detectives canvassed the area however there were no witnesses that observed the shooting.
The Victim is an 18-year-old male, Hispanic from San Fernando. His identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification
