April 12, 2021 NR21106wc Update Detectives from Juvenile Division, Abused Child Unit, are conducting a thorough investigation as to the circumstances surrounding the death of the three children in Reseda this past Saturday. The mother, Liliana Carrillo, remains a suspect in this case and is currently in the custody of Kern county officials for a carjacking-related offense. Extradition will be sought by the LAPD investigators handling this case after conferring with the LA County District Attorney’s Office. The department is being assisted by the LA County Coroner’s Office and no other information is currently available as to the manner or cause of death.

The person of interest, Liliana Carrillo has been taken into custody in the Ponderosa area of Tulare County.
West Valley: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide and Juvenile Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the whereabouts of 30-year-old Liliana Carrillo, a person of interest.
On April 10, 2021, around 9:30 a.m., West Valley Patrol Officers responded to the 8000 block of Reseda Boulevard for a radio call involving a possible death at one of the apartments. The officers went inside an apartment and discovered three children at scene. Los AngelesFire Department personnel pronounced all three children deceased at scene.
The children all appear to be under the age of 5 years old.The cause of death has yet to be determined, as well as motive.
We are receiving reports that she just committed a carjacking in the Bakersfield area and might be driving in a stolen Silver Toyota pickup license J258T0.
