Up to $50,000 Reward Available for Information on This Crime
On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit and Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $50,000 is available to community members who provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 1:25 A.M., a white Mercedes was traveling westbound on Venice Boulevard approaching Sepulveda Boulevard and collided with the victim who was walking southbound Sepulveda Boulevard in marked crosswalk. The victim survived and sustained serious injuries. The driver of the white Mercedes fled the scene without identifying himself or herself and did not render aid to the victim, as required by law.
