LAPD “Father’s Day Community BBQ & Baseball Game Event”

LAPD and Champions in Service collaborate to bring a local community Father’s

Day event like no other.

7 A.M. to 3 P.M.

Why:

After Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted, organizers feel it’s a perfect time to acknowledge dads and families in the local community that have had a tough year with a Father’s Day event like no other!

* We are kicking off the event with a free Cal Ripken Sr. youth baseball clinic for kids of all ages @ 8:30am (Instructed by our Finest LAPD Baseball Team, all participants receive a free Cal Ripken Sr. T-Shirt)

* Followed by a real baseball game between LAPD Baseball Team (Made up of all sworn LAPD Officers) vs. The Pacoima Pirates (Local community baseball team)

* Free BBQ lunch, beverages, dad contests, music, photo booth, and carnival games for prizes!

* Special guests to throw out first pitches will include, actor Danny Trejo, Dodgers legend Manny Mota, Congressman Tony Cardenas, and LAPD Chief Michel Moore!
