In direct response to the fears and misconceptions voiced by residents and stakeholders from the Southeast, Newton, 77th, Hollenbeck, and San Fernando Gardens areas during recent Community Safety Advisory Council (CSAC) meetings; the Community Safety Partnership Bureau along with the Communications Division, Operations South Bureau, the Latin American Law Enforcement Association (LALEY), the Hispanic American Police Command Officers Association (HAPCOA), Councilmember Monica Rodriguez, Councilmember Joe Buscaino, and the Urban Peace Institute, are hosting a community webinar event on the 911 process for our community. This webinar will include presentations and discussions to help dispel the fears that affect our community. Topics will include immigration status, anonymity, and common misperceptions of 911.

This event is open to all community members to attend; however, there will not be translation provided. A Spanish webinar was held on June 9th, 2021.
