Why:LAPD’s Central Area has partnered with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to host the 1st Annual Central Area and Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Community Carnival.
The carnival will have games, rides, food and fun for the entire family. Although the admission is free, the public is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the food bank. All monies raised will go to support the LA Food Bank and Central Area youth programs.
On Saturday, Mayor Villraigosa will be at the carnival at 2:00 p.m. and Councilmember Jan Perry will stop by at about 7:30 p.m.
