Los Angeles: An eleven-year-old girl was able to escape from her kidnapper after being forced inside his van while she was walking home from school.
The girl was walking along the 12300 block of Bradford Place, in front of Robert Frost Middle School in Granada Hills around 3:15 p.m. yesterday, October 19. A man driving an older model blue van drove up and grabbed her. While the man was driving her away, the girl screamed help and her kidnapper pushed her out of the vehicle.
The girl was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The suspect was described as White male, with long brown hair and a long beard. The girl estimated his age at 30 years. The blue van was described as having windows on the side.
Robert Frost Middle School is located at 12300 block of Bradford Place.
