Los Angeles: The police department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a car that killed 75-year old woman on Christmas’ Eve.
On Saturday, December 24, 2005, at about 5:28 p.m., Officers responded to a fatal traffic collision at Brockton Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard.
According to witnesses, an elderly woman was walking her dog across Brockton Avenue when she was struck by a car. The car stopped momentarily then sped away.
The suspect’s car is described as a 2000 to 2005 white Honda Sedan with damage to the front end, hood and the windshield area. The passenger side mirror may also be missing.
The victim suffered severe injuries and died at the scene.
The victim’s name is being withheld until her family can be notified.
The victim’s dog was found and is now in the care of Department of Animal Regulation.
