Opens https://lacity.gov/directory in a new window.Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Bureau Homicide Division announce the arrest of 63-year-old, Vincent Kennedy for Murder.
On Thursday, September 16, 2021, around 1:15 p.m., Southwest patrol officers responded to a radio call of an ambulance death investigation near the 4000 block of Buckingham Road. Upon arrival they located Victim, Bonny Dodd, a female White, 69-years-old, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Dodd was pronounced deceased at scene by the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
South Bureau Homicide Division investigators identified Vincent Kennedy of Los Angeles, California, as the person responsible for the death of Dodd. Kennedy was arrested at scene and booked for murder.
On September 20, 2021, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s filed murder charges (187 PC) on Kennedy.
