Los Angeles : On Friday, January 14, 2005, 29 year-old, Tesha Collins was at work at the Hooper Early Education Center located in the 1200 block of East 52nd Street, Los Angeles.
At around 7:45 a.m., her former boyfriend, 23 year-old Joshua Vick approached her and tried to take her away from the location. When she refused to leave with him, he pulled out a handgun and forced her to leave. It is believed that Joshua Vick and Tesha Collins left the location in a green 4-door Pontiac Grand-Am or Pontiac Grand-Prix with tinted windows.
Detectives investigating the kidnapping were later lead to a home in the 700 block of West Imperial Highway, Los Angeles. The home was the scene of a double homicide that occurred just after midnight on Friday, January 14, 2005. Mr. Gable Vick, age 54, and Mrs. Mary Vick, age 52, died as the result of gunshot wounds. The homicide victims are the parents of kidnap suspect Joshua Vick.
