Los Angeles: Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the Monthly Media Availability meeting, hosted by Chief of Police William J. Bratton. This media availability is consistent with Chief Bratton’s goal to foster openness and cooperation with the Department and the public/media.
Topics for the meeting will be:

Latest crimes and arrest statistics
Progress update on the LAPD’s use-of-force policy review, including the announcement of the outside use-of-force experts, who are meeting with LAPD leaders this week. The experts’ names will be announced and their biographies will be available.

A question-and-answer period will follow for media representatives.
