Los Angeles: Devonshire Area Detectives are requesting the media’s assistance in the abduction of a 6 year-old boy by his mother.
On Thursday, March 10, 2005, at about 10:00 a.m., Anthony Teran Portillo, a residence of Los Angeles was taken from his home by his mother, in violation of a court order. Johanna Portillo-Teran, the victim’s mother, arrived at the boy’s home in the Panorama City area, where an extended family member was babysitting him. Ms. Portillo-Teran said that she was taking her son to breakfast, however, she never returned with the child.
Missing persons and child abduction reports were completed at Devonshire Police Station.
The suspect, Johanna Portillo-Teran, born 12-21-81, is described as a 23 year-old female Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5’6" tall and weighing 180 pounds. She has a heavy build, medium complexion and was last seen wearing a red sweater and blue jeans. There was no vehicle seen.
The missing boy, Anthony Teran Portillo, was born on 08-02-98, and is a male Hispanic, with brown hair, brown eyes, is approximately 4 feet tall and weighs about 75 pounds. The child has a thin build and was last seen wearing a tan shirt with blue jeans.
