Los Angeles: On Thursday, March 17, 2005, the Los Angeles Police Department along with the Department of Transportation are joining their efforts to enforce the "No Stopping and No Parking laws." Officers will be citing and impounding vehicles that park illegally during peak early morning or late afternoon hours. The vehicles targeted cause congestion and vehicular collision throughout the San Fernando Valley.
The purpose of this operation is to facilitate the safe and expeditious movement of vehicular traffic.
