Los Angeles: Newton Area Detectives are requesting the media’s assistance in the abduction of a 10 year-old boy by his mother.
On Friday, April 22, 2005, at about 12:30 p.m., Bobby White, a resident of Los Angeles was playing in his front yard when he was taken by his mother. Brenda Fapohunda, the victim’s grandmother told investigators that she was recently granted full custody of the child and that he was living with her. The suspect’s boyfriend called Mrs. Fapohnda at 6:30 p.m., and informed her that the child was with them.
The suspect, Aquita Fapohunda, born 10-10-79, is described as a 25 year-old female black with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5’5" tall and weighing 160 pounds. She has a thin build, and dark complexion.
The missing boy, Bobby White, was born on 03-20-95, and has black hair, brown eyes, is 4’01" tall and weighs about 50 pounds. The child has a thin build and was last seen wearing a blue jumpsuit with the word "strek" on the front.

*On Saturday, April 23, 2005, at about 5:30 p.m., Bobby White’s mother dropped him off at a bus stop on Manchester Boulevard near Broadway. He appeared nourished and unharmed. He had been staying in an apartment with his mother and her boyfriend on Manchester Boulevard. He is currently with his grandmother.
