Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Area Robbery Unit is investigating the armed robbery of the O-Kay Liquor Store, located at 5500 West Pico Boulevard.
On Saturday, May 14, 2005, at about 9:20 PM, two suspects entered the O-Kay Liquor store. As one of the suspects stood as a look out, the other suspect pointed a handgun at the cashier and removed money from the cash register. The cashier attempted to disarm the suspect and a struggle began over the gun. During the struggle one shot was discharged, barley missing the cashier. Both suspects ran out of the location and out of sight.
The suspect who struggled with the cashier is described as a male Black, black hair, brown eyes, 6 feet tall, 180-190 pounds, 35 to 45 years of age. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black pants.
The lookout suspect is described as a male Black, black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 220 pounds, 20 to 25 years of age. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue shorts.
