Los Angeles: On January 21, 2004, Councilman Martin Ludlow and Councilwoman Janice Hahn presented a Motion before the City Council that passed, authorizing rewards from $25,000 to $75,000, to persons providing information leading to the arrest(s) of suspect(s) committing crimes against public safety personnel.
On Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at 12:30 p.m., a press conference will be held to announce the Resolution. This press conference will take place in the City Hall Press Room, Room No. 336, 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, and will be attended by Councilman Martin Ludlow, Chief William J. Bratton, LAPD Officers who have been the victims of assaults with a deadly weapon, LAPD command staff and representatives from the Los Angeles Police Protective League.
