Los Angeles: On February 5, 2004, at about 9:30 p.m., a fatal, multi-car traffic accident happened at 1st Street and Western Avenue in Harbor Division. A blue Ford Explorer, driven by Timothy Clark, was driving north bound on Western Avenue when he collided with a tan Toyota Camry that was facing west bound at the intersection on 1st Street. The impact of the accident caused the Toyota to collide with a black GMC sport utility car that was stopped east bound on 1st Street.
The driver of the Toyota Camry died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver is described as a middle age male Hispanic and his identity has not been release until his family can be notified.
The driver and passenger of the GMC car received minor injuries from the accident. Mr. Clark was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He was arrested for Gross Vehicular Manslaughter and being held on a $100,000 bail.
