Who: Foothill Area Valley Traffic Division and Operations Valley Bureau
When: Tuesday, January 6, 2004, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. next morning
Where: Van Nuys Boulevard from Foothill Boulevard to the East, Laurel Canyon to the West, includes San Fernando Gardens Housing Development and Pierce Apartments, Terra Bella Street to the North, Sheldon Street to the South, San Fernando Road to East and Woodman to the West

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department, Foothill Area Valley Traffic Division and Operations Valley Bureau, will conduct a Crime Task Force to reduce crime in the San Fernando Valley. The focus will be on violent crimes and community quality of life issues.
There will be zero tolerance for traffic violations and criminal acts in the affected area. Recent task forces in other areas of the Valley have resulted in hundreds of traffic citations and vehicle impounds, and dozens of arrest.
