West Valley: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of a 32-year-old Jonisha Mendoza, a resident of Reseda.
On December 13, 2020, around 8:25 a.m., West Valley area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a, “Death Investigation,” in the 18400 block of Kittridge Avenue, in Reseda.
When officers arrived, they found Mendoza unresponsive inside an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced Mendoza dead at scene.
The investigation revealed Mendoza did not live in the apartment. Detectives canvassed the area for surveillance cameras, other possible witnesses and further evidence.
