Shooting in Winnetka Leaves One Dead NR21325dm

Winnetka: Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the shooting death of 30-year-old James Keith Brooks.

On November 19, 2021, around 11:15 p.m., Mr. Brooks was shot while answering a knock at the door of his motorhome, parked near the intersection of Gault Street and Winnetka Avenue. His friends came to his aid and called for paramedics.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported Mr. Brooks to a local hospital where he later died.

There is no suspect description.
