Valley Village: Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the shooting death of 30-year-old Michael Roskowick, a resident of Van Nuys.

On November 29, 2021, at 7:05 p.m., North Hollywood patrol officers responded to the 11000 block of Huston Street for a shooting investigation. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds being treated by paramedics.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was seated in the driver seat of a Ford SUV, which was parked in the middle of the street. A male suspect approached the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle, shot the victim, then fled north on Vineland Avenue.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he died.

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old male White or Hispanic, bald, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing approximately 230 pounds.
