Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting that the media provide the public with the following information to assist law enforcement efforts in locating a missing child.
On September 14, 2004, at about 2:30 p.m., 41 year-old Olivia Rodriguez was visiting her one year-old child at a family services facility, located in the 11100 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard in Mission Hills. Rodriguez distracted a court appointed guardian and took the child. She ran out of the facility and entered an awaiting vehicle, a 1985 to 1990 black colored 4-door Nissan or Toyota, and fled northbound on Sepulveda Boulevard.
In 2003, Los Angeles County Superior Court placed the child in the custody of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services due to the risk of serious injury to the child.
Rodriguez was described as a female Hispanic with brown hair, brown eyes, 5’ 3" and 145 lbs. She was last seen wearing a flowered print dress. The child’s name is Alejandro Gonzales and he has brown hair, brown eyes, 24" and approximately 25 lbs. He was wearing a blue jumpsuit with pictures.
