Panorama City: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of 24-year-old Ramon Contreras, a resident of Panorama City.
On January 11, 2022, around 7:20 p.m., Mission Area Patrol Officers responded to a radio call of an “Assault with a deadly weapon call, shots fired,” at Parthenia Street and Kester Avenue. The officers responded to the location and located the victim, laying on the sidewalk in front of the 14700 block of Parthenia Street. The victim was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.
Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives responded and assumed the investigative responsibility.
