"Fellow Gang Members Stand Around and Laugh While Man is Killed"
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for the senseless murder of a 38 year-old, White male.
On Monday, July 28, 2003, at 6:38 p.m., the victim was chased by several gang members west from Rimpau Boulevard. The victim tripped and fell in the 4800 block of St. Elmo Drive. As the victim screamed for help, one suspect obtained a concrete block and threw it at the victim, as the other gang members laughed at the victim. The block struck the victim in the head.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. The name of the victim is being withheld pending the notification of the family.
No arrests have been made at this time.
