Early Morning Shooting Critically Injures Taxi Driver

Los Angeles: On May 22, 2003, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Rogelio Magana, 43 years of age, was driving his taxi in the area of Hoover Street and El Segundo Boulevard when he was shot by unknown suspect(s). After being shot, Magana’s taxi collided with several parked vehicles and came to rest. Magana was transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.
There is no suspect information at this time and the motive to this shooting is unknown.
