Innocent Life Taken by Violence

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting incident which led to the death of Joi Corrine Douglas, a 22 year-old female, Black, who was senselessly shot.
The incident occurred on Monday, May 26, 2003, between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., located in the 1700 block of Vernon Avenue. The victim was found in a stair well that led to her apartment.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.
No suspects have been identified and no motive has been established for this crime.
