Man Found Dead in Room NR22069rc

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of a 42-year-old male, white, La Quinta resident.

On March 10, 2022, at 5:29 p.m., Topanga Area Patrol Officers responded to a radio call of a, “Battery Investigation”, in the 20200 block of Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills. Upon arrival, the officers observed the victim inside the room laying on the ground. His feet were tied together, and his hands were handcuffed behind his back. He had strangulation marks on his neck.

The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene. The victim has not been identified until next of kin has been notified.

Operations Valley Bureau Homicide responded and assumed responsibility.  Detectives learned that the victim was found dead by the security guard and manager of the location.  The victim had been staying at the location since July of 2021.  Detectives will continue to canvass the area for witnesses, surveillance cameras and further evidence.
