Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) – NRF013-22rc

On April 28, 2022, at around 6:23 p.m., an on-duty Police Officer II+II assigned to West Traffic Division experienced a Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) while handling a co-worker’s firearm inside the detective squad room. The round was discharged directly into the floor.
No one was injured during the incident.
Force Investigation Division detectives responded to the scene and are investigating this incident.
