Los Angeles: Pacific Area Homicide Detectives are investigating a murder that occurred on December 18, 2002 at 12:45 a.m., at Electric Avenue and Broadway.
The victim, 30 year-old Michael Alan Treanor, worked at Joe’s Restaurant where he was employed as an assistant manager and waiter. After finishing his workshift, he walked to his vehicle which was parked nearby. Mr. Treanor had just entered his vehicle when someone rode up to him on a bicycle and fired several rounds into his car, killing him. The suspect then fled the scene on his bicycle.
The suspect responsible for this murder has not been identified and represents an on-going threat to the safety of the people of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles City Council is offering a $25,000.00 reward for the identification, apprehension and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this murder.
