Murder Suicide in Koreatown

"Murder Suicide"
 
Los Angeles: On Friday, January 3, 2003, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Wilshire Patrol Officers responded to a radio call of "ADW" Ambulance Enroute, Shots Heard" at the 4000 block of West 3rd Street, Los Angeles.
Officers arrived and discovered the bodies of a male Korean, 37years of age, and a female Korean, 36 years of age.
According to witnesses’ statements, the male Korean shot and killed the female, who was his estranged girlfriend. The male then shot and killed himself.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics pronounced both victims dead at the scene. The names are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
