WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Community Safety Partnership Bureau,
in collaboration with the Los Angeles Chargers, will host the “Junior Chargers Training Camp” at South Park Recreation Center.
Junior Chargers Training Camps are free grassroots experiences for youth and adolescents, ages 7-13, to develop physical fitness and key on-field football skills. In addition to the Los Angeles Chargers, the event will be delivered with the support of various community partners and coordinated through the efforts of the South Park CSP Team. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end promptly at 12:00 p.m. At this time, sign-ups for the camp have been closed, and entry into the camp is strictly for those who pre-registered.
Thank you to our partners with the Los Angeles Chargers for their generosity in hosting this event designed to inspire and empower our City’s youth.
