Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) are seeking additional victims following the arrest of Francisco Lopez.
In May 2022, The Los Angeles Regional ICAC Task Force received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that child sexual abuse material (CSAM) was uploaded from an unknown address in Los Angeles using a social media platform. ICAC Task Force investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department subsequently identified the reported user as 50-year-old Francisco Lopez, a resident of Los Angeles.
On May 26, 2022, LAPD ICAC Task Force investigators served a search warrant at Lopez’s residence, where evidence was seized. Lopez was a campus aide at an elementary school in Los Angeles. Lopez was arrested for violation of 311.11(a), Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. Detectives are releasing Lopez’s photo because they believe there are additional unidentified victims.
