Los Angeles: On Wednesday December 4, 2002, Los Angeles Police Department Chief of Police William J. Bratton, will formally announce and swear-in three newly promoted members of his command staff.
LAPD Commander Earl C. Paysinger, currently assigned as the Commanding Officer of Employee Relations Group, will be promoted to Deputy Chief; Captain Michael R. Hillmann, currently assigned as the Commanding Officer of Air Support Division, will be promoted to Deputy Chief and Police Administrator II Laura H. Johnson, currently assigned as the Commanding Officer of Support Services Group, will be promoted to Police Administrator III and will be assigned as the Commanding Officer of Fiscal & Support Bureau.
These promotions are consistent with the Department’s tradition of promoting those best qualified to positions of increased responsibilities within the organization. The biographies and photographs of these promotees are available on the Department’s website.
