On June 13, 2022, around 11:20 p.m., an off-duty Police Officer assigned to Mission Division was handling his Department approved, private purchased firearm, and had a Non-Tactical Unintentional Discharge (NTUD) in his residence. The round was discharged into the frame of his bedroom window.
No one was injured during the incident.
Force Investigation Division detectives responded to the scene and are investigating this incident.
