Chatsworth: On June 28, 2022, at 8:25 PM, Devonshire patrol officers responded to a death investigation on the 21000 block of Plummer St in Chatsworth. Upon arrival, two victims were discovered unresponsive and were pronounced deceased by paramedics. The deceased, 2 males, ages 10 and 35 were discovered by family members inside a vehicle. It was later discovered they were father and son. Both had been reported missing by family members earlier that day and relatives located the vehicle parked along the curb at 21000 Plummer St with both inside. The vehicle had to be forced open and both father and son removed from the rear seat, where they were evaluated by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. Detectives are investigating the likelihood of a murder/suicide and do not believe there are any outstanding suspects. The decedents were transported to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office where a determination will be made on the cause of death.
