Arrest of Assault Suspect – NR22223ah

Hollywood: On July 29, 2022, around 2:15 a.m., Hollywood Division Police Officers responded to the 1700 block of North Las Palmas Avenue for a battery investigation. Officers investigation revealed that a female victim was knocked unconscious, then kicked in the head by the suspect. The incident was captured on cell phone video and received significant news and social media attention.

On August 3, 2022, around 6:30 p.m., Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division arrested 33-year-old Dammion Jamarr Adkins, a resident of Lancaster, for 243(D) PC- Felony battery with Serious Bodily Injury. He is currently being held without bail Booking#6432300.
