WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department Northeast Division area aims to provide awareness and information to the public visiting the park regarding vehicle break-ins targeting tourists and park visitors.

The event will feature a static display of most common items stolen from vehicles, as well as crime statistics and a crime map for Griffith Park.

The event will also highlight and feature the Citizen Volunteer Program (CVP) that Patrols Griffith Park and works with both the LAPD and LA Park Rangers.
