Severe Injury Felony Hit-And-Run in Rampart Division NR22280ll

Rampart: On September 24, 2022, at 8:25 p.m., a 44-year-old female pedestrian was crossing an unmarked crosswalk at Dillon Street and Beverly Boulevard. A white, unknown make and model passenger vehicle was traveling eastbound on Beverly Boulevard and crashed into the pedestrian. The impact of the crash caused the pedestrian to be launched into a parked vehicle, bounced off the parked vehicle and came to rest onto the street.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene eastbound Beverly Boulevard from Dillon Street and failed to stop to render aid and identify him or herself. The vehicle likely has front end damage.

The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene, transported the pedestrian to a local hospital, and was admitted with severe injuries. She is in stable condition and recovering.

On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members that provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
