Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department, Wilshire Area Community Police Station and the Korean Youth and Community Center will be conducting a march against crime. The theme for the march is "Say No to Drugs, Graffiti, Gangs and Crime."
The Los Angeles Police Department, Wilshire Area Community Police Station and the Korean Youth and Community Center will be conducting a march against crime. The theme for the march is "Say No to Drugs, Graffiti, Gangs and Crime."
The march will be assembled in the parking lot of a Bank of America located on the southwest corner of Olympic Boulevard and Western Avenue. It is anticipated that approximately 4,000 participants will be gathered for the march. They will proceed eastbound on Olympic Boulevard to Kingsley Drive, northbound to Wilshire Boulevard, westbound to Western Avenue, then southbound to the original location.
Confirmed participants include:
Students from the Los Angeles Unified School District, Christian Mission Fellowship, LA Bridges, Americorps, Wilshire Area Neighborhood Watch, Pacific Asian Volunteer Association, United Way, YMCA, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and the Korean Youth and Community Center.
