Koreatown: The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of a male adult, possibly a local resident.
On November 14, 2022, at around 3:00 a.m., Olympic patrol officers responded to a radio call of “Shots fired with a man down,” near 8th Street and Normandie Avenue in Koreatown. The officers arrived and found a victim down on the sidewalk. The victim had suffered gunshot wounds and was not responsive.
The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the male victim dead at scene.
Witnesses heard approximately five shots in the area. No suspects were seen.
