Van Nuys: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating a murder in Van Nuys.
On December 8, 2022, around 1:00 a.m., Van Nuys Division officers responded to a radio call of shots fired at an apartment complex in the 13800 block of Oxnard Street. Upon arrival, the
apartment was engulfed in flames. After the fire was extinguished by the Los Angeles Fire Department, officers discovered the deceased victim, described as a male, approximately 20-25 years old, with gunshot wounds.
Investigators are actively working the scene and looking for additional witnesses and evidence. The suspect is only described as a male and was last seen leaving the location on foot in an unknown direction.
