Fatal Shooting in Sun Valley NR22384ll

Sun Valley: On December 19, 2022 at 10:00 P.M., Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Foothill Division officers responded to a shooting call at the 8500 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard. They were redirected to a local hospital where they located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was approached by a suspect with a gun who fired a single shot. The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction in a dark colored vehicle. The victim’s friend drove the victim to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The suspect was described as a Male, Hispanic, 5’10”-6′, approximately 250 pounds and wore a light blue medical mask.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
