Los Angeles: For nearly a year, detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division worked tirelessly to investigate the May 4, 2001 murder of Bonny Lee Bakley.
During the investigation, detectives closely scrutinized over 900 items of evidence and interviewed more that 150 people. The detective’s hard work resulted in the filing of charges against 68-year old Robert Blake and 46-year old Earle Caldwell.
In order to protect the integrity of this investigation, the LAPD will neither at this time, nor any time in the future be releasing details or names of those involved in the case.
