Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a felony hit-and-run traffic collision that left one victim severely injured.

On December 24, 2022, around 3:40 p.m., a male victim was crossing Huntington Drive on Kendall Avenue in a marked crosswalk with his dog. Before reaching the midpoint of the crosswalk, the victim was struck by a green Toyota Tundra making a left turn southbound from Alhambra Road onto Huntington Drive.

After the collision, the driver failed to stop to render aid and identify himself or herself. The Toyota Tundra is believed to be a 2007 to 2013 model. It has custom wheels, running boards, and bed cover.

The victim suffered from severe injuries and currently recovering.

Suspect Vehicle

On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members that who provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
