Los Angeles: On Wednesday, November 7, 2001, at 10:00 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department will hold the 22nd Annual Recognition Day Awards ceremony in the Police Academy gymnasium, located at 1880 North Academy Road, Los Angeles. This event will honor the men and women who have distinguished themselves above and beyond the normal demands of police service.
Los Angeles Police Chief Bernard C. Parks will be presenting the awards to 130 recipients including one FBI Agent, two Los Angeles Deputy City Attorneys and eight community members.
